French for beginners II

What will I learn?

This course continues from French for beginners I [LINK]. It covers the basics, but in a more elaborate way. Here, you will learn to formulate sentences that are a bit more complex than in the previous course and to understand longer written and spoken texts.

More specifically, you will learn to talk about physical appearance, character traits and feelings, and talk to a doctor and deal with public services. You will also learn to talk about the weather and subjects regarding nature as well as city life. You will expand your vocabulary on food, drinks, clothes and everything in and around the house, as well as your vocabulary on sports, leisure and travel. At the end of the course you will be able to fill in official forms, make a phone call and watch the news headlines on TV.

Each class has a maximum of 6 participants, which ensures you get the most out of it. The teacher provides personal feedback, you get a lot of time to speak and simultaneously you learn from classmates who have other questions and experiences.

People are saying

Professional atmosphere

With Stéphanie it is really about the „student“ having the right experience rather than simply teaching as many people as possible. Over the whole course I enjoyed the professional but relaxed atmosphere, which allowed me to also deviate from the study material and to discuss topics I am personally concerned about. While there was a clear structure, I was always given the opportunity to suggest whether I would like to focus more on one theme rather than another. I was especially fond of the mixed methods of learning with a strong focus on talking (as that was what I wanted to focus on), doing exercises, writing essays but also preparing small presentations. To put it in a nutshell, I really enjoyed the lessons with Stéphanie.
