Due to pregnancy leave Stéphanie will pick up new French courses again from March 2021. We are looking forward to welcoming you in class then!
What will I learn?
In this intermediate course you will expand on and deepen what you learned in the two previous courses. This means you will be able to formulate longer and combined sentences, and understand longer texts.
Specifically, you will learn to talk about all the things we’ve come across in the previous courses, but in a more elaborate manner and also at a more personal and professional level. From feelings of love to ecological matters, and from art preferences to taxes. You will be able to talk about your emotions and opinions, to describe and analyse all that surrounds you, and to work on building an argument in order to take part in light, but also more complex discussions. You will also use verbs in all past tenses and in different modes, which will make your speech more vivid and dynamic.
Practical language you will learn varies from booking a train trip to arranging health insurance and from cooking a dish to preparing for a job interview, you will gain a true sense of being immersed in French culture.
Each class has a maximum of 6 participants, which ensures you get the most out of it. The teacher provides personal feedback, you get a lot of time to speak and simultaneously you learn from classmates who have other questions and experiences.
On-line or off-line?
Our courses can be offered either on-line or in the classroom/hybrid class. During the application process you can give your preference. After applying we set up an intake meeting. During the intake meeting we discuss your goals and expectation for the course and we assess your level. If you have any questions, we can also answer them in that conversation.
