About

My challenge is to have a nice learning atmosphere in our class, to have you practice a lot and make learning and speaking Dutch enjoyable. I will always look for ways to make the lesson fun and inspiring, with an eye for everyone’s way and level of learning. Because; a day without learning (or laughing) is a day wasted.

I regularly hear students who just started a course sigh and say that Dutch is a very difficult language. During my lessons I will be happy to prove you wrong. That is why I will invite you to speak Dutch and practice with real life situations. When you start noticing that Dutch is not that difficult at all, and even enjoy learning, then I’ll be a satisfied teacher.

Brief CV

After working as a communications advisor and editor for more than 30 years, in the Netherlands and abroad, I changed course and got qualified as a Dutch teacher. I now enjoy conveying my love for the Dutch language to groups of students from all kinds of cultural and language backgrounds.

A sense of community
