What will I learn?
Business English combines targeted vocabulary with practical conversation topics, helping you feel more confident using English in meetings and in your daily professional environment. In this course, you will learn and actively use vocabulary from a range of sectors while developing essential skills for correspondence, interviews, presentations, and more.
We use Market Leader, a five‑level textbook designed for learners who want to focus on business English or improve their general business communication while developing their language skills. The book incorporates material from the Financial Times and covers topics such as buying and selling, mergers and acquisitions, and small talk, among others. Interviews and case studies bring real‑world business scenarios into the classroom.
Each class has a maximum of eight participants, ensuring you get the most out of every session. The teacher provides personal feedback, and you have plenty of time to speak. Additionally, you benefit from classmates who have different questions and professional backgrounds.
Evening & day classes
We offer this course in the evenings from 17:15–19:15 or 19:30–21:30. The exact day and time are determined before each block based on the students’ availability.
Online or in person?
Our courses generally take place in person at our location in Utrecht. However, online or hybrid classes are also possible. During the application process, you can indicate your preference. After applying and taking a level test, we schedule a free intake to discuss your goals and assess your speaking level. During that conversation, you can ask any remaining questions you may have.
